GHGT-11 Overview
18th-22nd November 2012, Kyoto International Conference Center, Japan
The Greenhouse Gas Control Technologies (GHGT) conference series was formed in 1997 following the merger of the earlier series of International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Removal (ICCDR) and the Greenhouse Gas Mitigation options conference. IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme (IEA GHG) are the guardians of the GHGT conferences which are held every two years. The conference series rotates between, North America, Europe and Asia.
This will be the second visit to Kyoto by the GHGT conference series, with the first being GHGT-6 in 2002 which saw 518 attendees. With the staggering growth that the conference has seen since 2002, we anticipate over 1,600 delegates will once again enjoy the Japanese hospitality. Once again the GHGT conference has broken previous abstract submission records with 1220 abstracts. Due to the overwhelming number of abstracts already received before the deadline (15th Feb), no late submissions will be accepted.
